tromer: transcriptome analyser

Introduction

The transcriptome analyser project aims to provide tools to determine and document all the transcribed parts of a genome. The transcribed parts are defined by analysing experimental evidence, like expressed sequence tags (EST) and other mRNA sequences.

Status

The transcriptome analyser code was written and is being further developed by Christian Iseli at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research (LICR).

The transcriptome data, including transcribed regions, splice variants, SAGE mappings, MPSS mappings, Affymetrix chips mappings, etc., for several organisms are available from our anon FTP server. Some papers, using our transcriptome data, have already been published:
